Libby Lou (Cindy Lou)

We have a 9 year old mastiff mix, Maggie, who is a big sweetheart, and have been contemplating on a new addition for some time. We really wanted MAggie to be able to teach a pup 'her ways' as we have been so blessed. We did not feel our home could handle another big dog though, and knew she did fine with our friends small dogs, so we starting looking on PerFinder. We came across Libby's face in some photos and feel in love instantly!! That underbite is so perfectly imperfect! We went to the meet and greet and took her home that day. The first couple days, Maggie didnt really understand what was going on, but took very quickly to being her 'babysitter'. They stay together all day while we are at work in the kitchen, and curl up on the bed together. We take them for walks at this local park, in a fenced in area - no one is ever there so they get to run. The other day, Libby took off around a corner we couldnt see, and we want her to get more used to coming when we call
her, so we told Maggie to 'go get her' and she went up around the corner and herded her back to us - it was great! Libby also hides behind Maggie as any other dogs approach to smell - it's just great to see her be protected, and trust Maggie - we are having so much fun and are so excited for the years to come!
